Café Compass: Spain

Café Compass: Spain

From our Madrid Café Compass, you'll probably already know that we love Spain and that it has a special place in our hearts. It's an amazing country, full of history, breathtaking landscapes and architecture, and obviously delicious food (Tres pinchos de tortilla por favor!).

While road tripping through Spain, we stopped at different towns and cities, and of course we searched and tried different coffee shops and bakeries - we'll keep coming back to Spain, and keep updating our list, so here's our Spain Café Compass:

Waco Coffee - A Coruña - @waco.coffee

While on our family road trip, we found Waco Coffee on our stop at A Coruña, and we loved it. The atmosphere was so chill, and the coffee was excellent. It was nice to relax for a while and chat about our thoughts on the northern part of our Spanish road trip. They also have outdoor seating, if that's something you prefer (and if the weather allows).

The staff was welcoming and helpful. Their menu has a selection of breakfast options, from avocado toast, eggs to yogurt and açai bowls; as well as sandwiches you can have for lunch. You know we have a big sweet tooth, so if you're like us, they have muffins, cookies, and banana bread.

We are already planning our next trip to Spain, and we'll be definitely going back to Galicia.

Location: Rua Alameda, 22, A Coruña, Spain.

Bluebell Coffee - Valencia - @bluebellcoffeeco

We came here on a very hot September day looking for a place to have a light lunch and a cup of coffee and relax for a bit, after a morning of exploring Valencia. The vibes are really nice, and it has a beautiful patio seating area as well as inside seating.

The coffee is excellent and the avocado toast with poached egg is one of the best we had in a very long time. As we were leaving, we could smell their sweet treats being baked, which sadly we were not able to try, so Bluebell is definitely on our must-go again list for our next trip to Valencia.

Location: C/ de Buenos Aires, 3, València, Spain.
