Café Compass: Paris
Paris is a city that we visited with very low expectations since we didn't want to get disappointed if it wasn't all we were expecting it to be (most people speak highly about Paris, but we had heard some bad comments too). It was better than we had ever dreamed of and we loved walking every street, stopping to admire the architecture and of course, their pâtisserie, which paired with a great coffee, was to die for. So, here's our Café Compass Paris edition:
Noir - @Noir_coffeeshop
Noir was our most visited coffee shop during our trip to Paris. Every morning it was our first stop of the day, to grab some mid-morning coffees for our daily walks around the city. Some days we stopped there for our afternoon coffees as well; when we find a great place for coffee, we will definitely visit it several times during the trip.
They have multiple locations around Paris, so even though we had one location near our hotel, we also visited some of their other locations as well and in everyone we had a lovely experience.
Our daily orders always included lattes, madeleines, financiers and a chocolate chip cookie - if you know us, you know we have to try a chocolate chip cookie when we see one.
Some of their locations: 63 Rue Saint-Louis en l'Île - 9 Rue de Luynes - 8 Rue Saint-Florentin - 120 Bd Haussmann - 9 Rue des Blancs Manteaux.
