Café Compass: London

London is a city that wowed us the second we stepped out of our cab. We find it so interesting and full of history; every corner reminds us of our history classes in school. It truly is a special city with lots to do and specially, great coffee and plenty of sweet treats to try - our favorite combination. Here's our Café Compass:

WatchHouse - @WatchHouse

After only our first coffee here, WatchHouse became our go-to. Not only is the coffee great, but also the atmosphere made us feel so cozy and warm.

Every time we thought about having a cup of coffee, eating lunch or having something sweet to eat, every single one of us said "Let's go to WatchHouse". So naturally, we visited several of their locations around London while on our daily walks.

Our order always included: lattes, brownie and a tart or for lunch, poached eggs on toast with salmon, a wrap or a sandwich.

The Monocle Café - @shop.monocle

The atmosphere at The Monocle Café is warm and welcoming - just what we look for when we want to take some time to stop and sip a cup of coffee. It is located in a chill and charming neighborhood, which was really nice to walk around. 

The coffee and the cardamom bun tasted amazing, and we enjoyed every minute we spent here. It's a small coffee shop, so it may be difficult to find a spot to sit at certain times of the day. 

We loved The Monocle Café so much that it made its way to the top of our all-time favorite coffee shops list, and when we visited Zurich, we had to visit their location there. Everything was lovely at the Zurich location as well: the coffee, the food, the service, and the atmosphere. It was very nice to sit at a table on the sidewalk to enjoy our lattes and the crisp fall air.
